Are FOOTHUGS stiffer than regular soft slippers?
FOOTHUGS are engineered for support, not just softness. When they first arrive, they may feel firmer than the unsupportive footwear you might be used to—this is perfectly normal! The memory foam needs a few days to "bed-in" and mould to your footprint. Once adjusted, any initial stiffness will disappear, leaving you with the perfect balance of superb support and cloud-like comfort. What are the benefits of using natural leather?

A dry environment also discourages fungal growth, significantly reducing the risk of conditions like Athlete’s foot. Since most people wear slippers more than any other footwear, we ensure yours keep your feet healthy, fresh, and stylish.
How should I care for my FOOTHUGS?
FOOTHUGS are designed primarily for indoor use. To maintain the suede finish and soft lining, keep them away from excessive dirt and water. If they do get wet, let them dry naturally in a warm location. Avoid using external heat sources (like radiators) to speed up the process, as this can cause discolouration or misshaping. Use only cleaning products specifically designed for suede and leather.
My slippers feel tight—will they stretch?
Yes. FOOTHUGS are made from 100% natural materials that are supple and designed to "give." They will naturally adjust to your feet within a few days. However, if they still feel too narrow after the break-in period, we recommend returning them for a larger size. Tip: If you have wider feet or a high instep, our Velcro-adjustable open-toe models are an excellent alternative for a customisable fit.
Are the soles slip-resistant?
Our soles are designed for stability throughout the home. They provide excellent grip on carpets, hardwood, and laminate flooring. While they also perform well on tiles, we recommend exercising caution if the surface is wet.
Can I wash my FOOTHUGS?
• Suede, Leather, and Sheepskin: These should NOT be machine washed. We recommend dry brushing or using a dedicated suede cleaner. Always test cleaning products on a small, inconspicuous area first.
• Felt or Textile models: These can be machine washed at a maximum of 30°C.
In all cases, always allow your slippers to air dry naturally to preserve their shape and colour.
